We would like to express our deepest condolences to those who lost their lives in the recent Kumamoto earthquake of 2016, and our heartfelt sympathies to those affected by the disaster.
We would like to inform you that, in addition to company-funded relief efforts, we have decided to donate funds collected from department General Manager, section chiefs, and executives, along with matching gifts *, to the Japanese Red Cross Society as relief money for those affected by the disaster.
We sincerely pray for the speedy recovery of the affected areas.

A company or other organization collects donations for the purpose of contributing to society, and then donates a certain percentage or the same amount to the amount donated by employees and others.
