Six AISIN Group companies, including our company, will be jointly exhibiting at the 2017 North American International Auto Show, to be held at the COBO Center in Detroit, USA from January 14th (Sat.) to 22nd (Sun.).
This time, we will be exhibiting for the first time the newly developed "FR 10-speed automatic transmission," "Transmission for multi-stage THS II," and "FF 8-speed automatic transmission." We will be introducing the latest products in the transmissions that are the Group's mainstay.
With regard to "autonomous driving," which is also attracting attention in the North American market, we will exhibit products that perform integrated vehicle motion control, such as "active rear steering" and "high-performance ESC modulator," as well as products that pursue sensing technology, such as "driver monitor systems" and "periphery monitoring systems." In addition, we will use a simulator to introduce the "driver abnormality response system," which combines these to automatically pull the car to the side of the road when the driver behaves abnormally.
In addition, we will use system exhibits and videos to promote vehicle body-related products that contribute to user comfort and convenience through weight reduction and shape optimization, as well as the direction of "thermal management" that contributes to improved fuel efficiency.
AISIN Group will continue to give due consideration to the environment and actively conduct research and development of new technologies to create the next-generation automotive society, aiming to further strengthen its competitiveness in North America.
