Six AISIN Group companies, including our company, will be jointly exhibiting at the 2018 North American International Auto Show, which will be held at the COBO Center in Detroit, USA from January 20th (Sun) to 28th (Sun).
In order to respond to the structural changes surrounding the automotive industry, AISIN Group is focusing on three areas: "zero emissions," "autonomous driving," and "connected."
In the "Zero Emissions" field, we will introduce an expansion of our powertrain lineup, such as a FF 1 motor hybrid transmission and eAxle that utilize existing technologies in response to electrification. In the "Autonomous Driving" field, we will introduce our efforts in integrated vehicle motion control, including a driver abnormality response system, and automatic valet parking. In the "Connected" field, we will introduce hospitality services and location information utilization services that allow the car to anticipate the user's mood and provide a comfortable drive at all times.
Other exhibits will include a lineup of transmissions, including a high-capacity FR 10-speed automatic transmission, a fully variable oil pump that contributes to fuel efficiency with its optimal shape, and a thermal management system that achieves efficient energy use and is composed of an electric water pump and grill shutters.
We will also be exhibiting a demo car equipped with the latest products in a wide range of fields that our group handles. The structure of the car allows you to see at a glance where these products are used in the car, and you can see the features of each product in motion and through video.
AISIN Group will continue to put customer expectations first in its research and development of products and technologies, aiming to further strengthen its competitiveness.
