ADVICS CO., LTD. (Headquarters: Kariya City, Aichi Prefecture, President: Akira Akiyama, hereinafter referred to as ADVICS")'s ET Robocon team "HELIOS" won first place in the competition category and second place in the model category at the Advanced Class of the ET Robocon * 2024 Championship Tournament held on Thursday, November 21st, achieving its second consecutive overall victory.
ET Robocon is a robotics contest that has been held since 2002 to test the quality of embedded software design technology, and our company has been participating since 2006. This year, with a total of 23 teams participating from across the country, our team not only won the overall championship in the Advanced Class, but also received two special awards, the IPA Award and the TOPPERS Award, for being the team with the best software design.
The development of autonomous driving systems and advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), which are our focus, requires the design of large-scale, complex software, so cultivating the modeling techniques that are important in these developments will help team members grow as brake system engineers.
ADVICS will continue to strive to develop its human resources by creating an environment in which each employee can maximize their capabilities and continue to play an active role.
