At the 2024 All Japan Senior Weight Class Championships held from February 22 to 23, Sugiura Toi, a member of Judo club of ADVICS CO., LTD. (Head office: Kariya City, Aichi Prefecture, President: Akira Akiyama, hereinafter referred to as ADVICS), won the championship. This is the first victory for ADVICS Judo in this tournament.
With his results in this tournament, Sugiura has earned the right to compete in the 2025 Kodokan Cup All Japan Weight Class Judo Tournament to be held in November 2025.
