Brake products developed by ADVICS CO., LTD. (Headquarters: Kariya City, Aichi Prefecture, President: Akira Akiyama, hereinafter referred to as ADVICS) have been adopted for the "e VITARA," which is scheduled to go on sale in Europe, India, Japan and other countries around the world from around summer 2025.
The "e VITARA" is Suzuki's first mass-produced BEV model, developed based on the concept of an "Emotional Versatile Cruiser." The vehicle features a design that combines a modern and powerful feel, as well as a BEV powertrain that delivers the brisk, sharp driving performance expected of a BEV.
ADVICS products have been selected for the e VITARA due to their proven track record and performance in the brake market. The products selected include electrified products such as Cooperative regenerative braking system and Caliper integrated parking brake, which contribute to improving the electric power consumption of the entire vehicle.
ADVICS will continue to expand its product lineup to accommodate electrification and contribute to the realization of a new mobility society and carbon neutrality.
