Brake products developed by ADVICS CO., LTD., Ltd. (Headquarters: Kariya City, Aichi Prefecture, President: Akira Akiyama, hereinafter referred to as ADVICS) have been adopted for the "RAV4" which was released on December 17, 2025.
The sixth-generation RAV4 is a next-generation SUV that combines electrification and intelligence under the development concept of "Life is an Adventure." Equipped with a newly developed hybrid system and Toyota's first adoption of the Arene software development platform, this new vehicle achieves even greater safety and security, as well as the enjoyment of mobility.
The products adopted this time are a new Cooperative regenerative braking system, Caliper integrated parking brake, front wheel Caliper and front and rear wheel Disc, and are used in a wide range of products from suspension parts to control parts. In particular, the new Cooperative regenerative braking system adopted this time has the same high control performance and electric fuel efficiency as the current model, but by changing the pressure source from a gear pump to an electric cylinder, it has achieved further improvements in productivity. This will meet the wide-ranging needs of the expanding electrification market, including the current model.
