ADVICS CO., LTD. (Headquarters: Kariya City, Aichi Prefecture, President: Akira Akiyama, hereinafter referred to ADVICS) has obtained TISAX (Trusted Information Security Assessment Exchange) certification, an information security standard designed by the German Association of the Automotive Industry (VDA).
In recent years, the automotive industry has seen a surge in the sharing of critical information with other companies and the joint development of products. Because this shared information often includes highly confidential data, there is an urgent need to understand security levels across the entire supply chain and strengthen advanced information security measures.
TISAX is an industry-standard certification (evaluation) system for evaluating and sharing information security levels across the entire automotive supply chain using common standards. Obtaining TISAX certification objectively demonstrates information security levels, thereby improving trust from customers and business partners. Furthermore, since evaluation results can be viewed on a shared platform, there is no need for individual company-specific reviews and responses, significantly streamlining the process leading up to the start of business transactions. Following this certification at our headquarters, we aim to obtain certification at our development centers in Europe and other regions.
