Curling is also known as chess on ice, where a single throw can have a major impact on the game. In recent years, the sport has been gaining in popularity, with Loco Solare winning a silver medal at the 2022 Beijing Olympics. ADVICS has actually been contributing to the spread of curling for over 10 years.
In 2013, we acquired the naming rights to one of Japan's largest year-round curling halls, the "ADVICS Tokoro Curling Hall" opened in Kitami, Hokkaido, and the following year, we started hosting ADVICS Cup, which brings together the top men's and women's teams. Furthermore, in the 2016 season, we signed a sponsorship contract with Loco Solare, and have continued to provide various forms of support up to the present day. Through our ongoing support, we are contributing to the revitalization of the eastern Hokkaido region.

Every year, members of Loco Solare visit ADVICS to report on the end of the season and interact with employees. In May 2024, the team's representative director, Mr. Motohashi, and four members visited our head office and Kariya Plant. All employees were excited to interact with the members who are now truly and truly representative of the curling world. They sent many wonderful words and smiles to new employees, including enthusiastic encouragement based on the experiences they gained in their athletic lives.
ADVICS Cup 2024 will be held again this year! Be sure to come and support the team in person!
This year, ADVICS Cup 2024 will be held from Thursday, August 22nd to Sunday, August 25th, 2024. The top men's and women's teams will compete in a heated battle at ADVICS Tokoro Curling Hall. In the women's competition, Loco Solare has won two consecutive championships, and attention is focused on whether they can achieve a third consecutive victory. Please come and experience it for yourself.
