What do you eat during your break at work? As part of our employee benefits, our head office, Fujioka Branch, Kariya Plant, Kariya No. 2 Plant, and Handa Plant have cafeterias and shops. In addition to the regular menu, our reasonably priced cafeterias offer a wide variety of menu items, including collaboration menus with famous restaurants, limited-time desserts, and TABLE FOR TWO*.
*By eating the designated healthy menu item, the company or cafeteria will donate 20 yen, which is the cost of one school meal in a developing country, and this will provide a school meal to a starving child.
Furthermore, starting in 2023, we have started a food truck project jointly organized by labor and management at each location with the aim of appreciating employees and allowing them to spend a fun time with their coworkers. Several times a year, a food truck is set up inside the company during breaks, and many employees enjoy kebabs, fried chicken, fries, churros, tapioca drinks, and more. Employees who participated said things like, "I invited my coworkers to come and eat. While eating delicious food, I was able to talk to people I don't usually have a chance to talk to," and "It was a festival-like atmosphere and we had a great time."
Going forward, labor and management will continue to work together to implement projects that will please all employees.
