Rally team starting up.
The challenge that started from the employees' passion began in 2016 at ADVICS. The passion for cars and the desire to accomplish something together came together, and 16 employees who love cars formed ADVICS Rally Team. The following year, they won their first victory in the C-3 class at the 9th round of the TOYOTA GAZOO Racing Rally Challenge (hereafter referred to as TGR Rally Challenge) (Fukushima).
Currently, the group has about 30 members and is expanding its scope of activities, participating in the All Japan Rally Championship and the Chubu-Kinki Rally Championship. In 2024, the group won the MORIZO Challenge Cup at the final round of the All Japan Rally Championship, the 51st MCSC Rally Highland Masters 2024 supported by KYB, and won the TGR Rally Challenge C4 class series, accumulating solid results.

A "running site" supported by a diverse team of members
The team has employees of a wide range of ages and occupations, from young to veteran, including drivers, co-drivers who give instructions to the driver from the passenger seat, maintenance mechanics, support for drivers, team PR, and more, all of whom utilize their respective areas of expertise.
Another force that supports the race site is the "rally meals" prepared by the team director, Yukio Mori. At the site of a tough rally, meals with teammates are important times that support the team's mind and body. Delicious food and smiles bring a sense of unity and security to the site.

Experience the excitement of a rally through video!
We will introduce the onboard camera footage of the "All Japan Rally Championship Round 1 RALLY Mikawa Bay" held in March 2025. In the video, ADVICS Rally Team is driving on a special stage. A special stage is a section where cars compete for the fastest time by driving at full speed on closed mountain roads or circuits.
The top speed recorded in the video is an astounding 150km/h! Be sure to watch the video to experience the thrilling driving and skill of the rally team.
Rally skills developed and applied to work
The experience gained through rallies is reflected in the daily work as a solid response. Not only do they put their skills in design, control, data analysis, etc., to practical use, but they also naturally develop situational judgment, teamwork, and the ability to respond calmly. For young employees in particular, connections across departments and on-site experience are a source of growth. They come into contact with cars, gain a deep understanding of their structure, and apply this knowledge to brake product development. They learn the importance of a competitive attitude as a team sport, and share the joy with their colleagues. Such experiences bring new perspectives and vitality to the manufacturing site.

Keep running, towards the future
ADVICS Rally Team will be competing in 21 races this season. Developing people through competition and passing on car culture to the next generation. With this desire in mind, the rally team will continue to race.
