Our products were exhibited at the Automotive Engineering Exposition held at Pacifico Yokohama (Nishi-ku, Yokohama City, Kanagawa Prefecture) from May 27th to 29th, 2026, and at Aichi Sky Expo (Aichi International Exhibition Center, Tokoname City, Aichi Prefecture) from June 17th to 19th, 2026, within AISIN booth.

What is the Automotive Engineering Exposition?
The Automotive Engineering Exposition is one of Japan's largest exhibitions, bringing together the latest technologies, products, and solutions from the automotive industry. Covering a wide range of themes that support next-generation mobility, such as electrification, autonomous driving, safety technologies, and software development, it is a popular event where visitors can directly experience the cutting edge technologies of various companies and get a feel for the trends in the industry.

What kind of exhibit did ADVICS have?
We showcased electric disc brake as a future braking system. This technology electrifies brakes that were previously operated hydraulically, achieving the high responsiveness required for autonomous driving and integrated vehicle control. We have two types in our lineup: a "front-wheel hydraulic/rear-wheel electric" type and a "four-wheel electric" type. As we aim for a society with zero accidents, it is becoming increasingly important to faithfully reproduce the control performance intended by the software, so we are developing this for market introduction. Many people, from competitors to suppliers, showed expectations and interest in our technological capabilities.

Research presentation by ADVICS engineers
At the Chubu Branch Research Presentation Meeting held within the venue, the latest research results contributing to the advancement of automotive technology were presented by various companies. Among them, an employee of our company presented a research paper on our company's technology, which attracted considerable interest from the audience.
Ryo Kawamura (pictured left) from the Elemental Technology Development Department presented on "Development of an electric cylinder pump for next-generation regenerative braking," and Shigetoshi Fujisawa (pictured right) from the Sports Braking Technology Development Department presented on "Investigation of boundary conditions in CFD analysis of brake Disc." Presentation slides were attached to a board, and discussions were held with the audience.
This research announcement is a significant achievement, demonstrating that the expertise and challenging spirit of our employees underpin our technological foundation. ADVICS will continue to widely disseminate its technological capabilities through product exhibitions, academic conferences, research presentations, and other opportunities, contributing to the development of a mobility society.
