What was your reason for participating in the "Food Education Lecture/Cooking Class"? Nagoya Grampus?

ADVICS has been certified as a "Health Management Excellent Corporation (Large Corporation Category)" for four consecutive years since 2022, a designation jointly promoted by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry and the Japan Health Council.

In 2026, one of the labor-management themes was "building a healthy body," and we are working to improve the health of our employees. As part of this effort, the labor union collaborated with Nagoya Grampus to hold a "food education seminar and cooking class." Through this collaboration with Nagoya Grampus, participation expanded to a wide range of members.

Delicious! Fun! Informative! Food education courses and cooking classes

On April 26, 2026, approximately 40 members and their families participated in a "Food Education Lecture and Cooking Class" held at the Kariya City Cultural Center.

We invited Ms. Yuko Mori, Dietitian and Nagoya Grampus's food education ambassador, to be our lecturer. Participants listened attentively to her talk about the secrets of the Grampus players' eating habits and the prevention of lifestyle-related diseases, deepening their understanding of the topic.

Furthermore, during the nutrition education quiz, questions such as "What foods did Grampus players actively consume when they felt fatigued?" were answered while discussing with colleagues and family members, creating a friendly and relaxed atmosphere in the venue.

In the cooking class, themed "Body-Nourishing One-Plate Cooking," participants practiced recipes devised by Ms. Mori. Using no knives and utilizing store-bought soft-boiled eggs, they prepared "Garlic Teriyaki Chicken Breast with Soft-Boiled Egg Plate," which can be completed in about 15 minutes.

Employees who participated commented, "It was a great opportunity to hear directly from Dietitian who supports professional athletes and to ask questions," while children said, "Cooking was fun. I'll try making it at home!"

Furthermore, all participants received Grampus merchandise, and a raffle was held with prizes such as uniforms and autographed cards, making the event a great success.

"Healthy recipes" spread from the event to the workplace and homes.

This initiative is unique in that the healthy recipes spread within the company and to people's homes, sparked by the event. The menus offered at the cooking class were subsequently served in the employee cafeterias at the head office, Kariya Plant, and Handa Plant.

In addition, the recipes are distributed via the labor union's LINE account and newsletter, and are also available in the employee cafeteria. This gives employees who did not participate in the event the opportunity to experience the same thing.
"Since we're here, let's try the menu designed by Grampus's food education advisor."
"It was delicious, so I'll try making it myself."

Such small actions can serve as a catalyst for becoming more health-conscious in daily life. ADVICS will continue to work together with its employees to promote health and well-being from various perspectives.
