As part of our sustainability awareness initiatives and support for child-rearing, we held our first "Children's Goods Recycle Donation Event." This event was held to collect children's and daily necessities that employees no longer need, and to provide them free of charge to employees who need them. The purpose of this event is not only to raise employees' awareness of sustainability, but also to foster a spirit of mutual support among employees who work under a variety of circumstances, saying "Thank you for your hard work, we're all in this together."

We received five times more donations than expected!

Over the three days from January 14th to 16th, we received approximately 1,300 donations from 101 employees. Some employees donated a lot of items by turning their entire houses upside down, others donated one precious item, some said, "It's a memento, but rather than keeping it unused, I'd like it to create new memories in the next home," and some said, "We don't have any children's items, but we brought everyday items!" In addition, the employees of AISIN Collaboration, who are in charge of security and who regularly protect our company, also participated.

Employees who made donations said things like, "We had a great time looking for items to donate with our children, saying things like, 'This brings back memories!' We're grateful for this wonderful opportunity," and "We wanted to gather up our children's things and clear them out, so this was a good opportunity."

The three people who donated the most were awarded the title of "KuruKuru Recycle King 2025." The total number of donations by the three was 180 (!).

An adoption event filled with "warmth♡smiles♡"

208 employees attended the "Children's Goods Recycle Transfer Fair" held on January 20th and 21st. The Women's Empowerment Working Group "Kirari" and Judo also participated in the event, helping to liven up the event.

A gentle atmosphere was felt throughout the venue, with visitors expressing their amazement, saying, "They have toys! Picture books! Even formal clothing! They have everything! I'm so grateful!" to comments such as, "I'm no longer raising children, but I still came to take a look. They have picture books that I used to read with my son! It brings back memories."

The 17 "child-rearing things" that make parents laugh are posted around the venue and are "good memories to look back on."

In addition, employees wrote their own messages of support for raising children on heart-shaped pieces of paper and displayed them.

Passing on the baton of kindness: Creating new memories in the next home

After the adoption event, we received messages of thanks and photos of their children from employees who attended. We would like to introduce some of the new connections that were made as a result of this adoption event.

[Employee receiving the toy] Narumi Kako, Technology Management Department
We received a mini bike for my 18-month-old son. My son enjoys riding it by himself, leaning it over and turning the tires with his hands, and playing with it every day. I heard that the donor, Komura-san, carried the mini bike to the office by train. Thank you so much. With the spread of telecommuting, I haven't had much opportunity to interact with senior parents in the company. I'm very grateful for receiving wonderful children's products and making new connections through this project.

[Employee who made the donation] Shiho Komura, Corporate Planning Dept.
Thank you for using the mini bike. Seeing your son having fun playing with it reminded me of my daughter riding it around the house when she was one year old. It made me feel very warm to see that something that might have been disposed of has been given to someone who needed it and that I saw a wonderful smile on their face.

Bringing kindness to welfare facilities

We donated 17 cardboard boxes full of clothes, bags, etc. that could not be recycled within the company to three facilities run by the Sowa Welfare Association in Higashiura-cho, Chita-gun, Aichi Prefecture: Namiusagi (baby home), ToyBOX (facility for disabled children), and Kaze no Iro (child care facility). Mr. Tsuzuki, the director of Namiusagi, commented, "Thank you for your donation. We appreciate your kind feelings."
